DOG OF THE MONTH

		Hi! I am Gracie. I am a small black Labrador Retriever, and I will be celebrating my 7th birthday on April Fools day. I hardly feel like a veteran dog but my owner feels that 16 inch jumps will be better for my body. My family’s genes dictate that I am suppose to be an obedience or field dog but I prefer agility. I did get my Obedience CD title in the fall of 2002 but after that I moved on to better things -the fun sport of agility! I love going to agility training so that I can sneak visits with other dogs, especially Baron. I also love treats of any kind and I try to steal treats from the nice adults in my class. Occasionally, even Fran will give me a treat if I take it nicely from her. During practices, my owner gets confused at times and does sequences out of order but I find her amusing and I forgive her mistakes. I have earned two agility titles, NJC and NAC. I hope to compete in CPE and DOCNA trials this year. My family is very busy and I am only able to compete a few times each year. This is ok with me because I like practices better because I get more treats!
