DOG OF THE MONTH

Buddy, owned by Nelson, Sally and Adam Snowden, is a 6 &1/2 yr old Golden Retriever Rescue, that came into our lives as a 4 month old needy child. Although agility is not his favorite pastime he will do it to please Mom. His real love is just being petted. Bud Monster (nickname) has also started Search and Rescue Training and really likes that because at the end of a "find" in training he gets LOTS of attention, tug of war, and praise. With his new friend and housemate, Bailey, he spends a lot of time in the water at our camp in the 1000 Islands, even being brave enough to go under water to get his toy so Bailey doesn't get it. This winter Bud will put his Therapy Dog Training into effect and visit some local nursing homes.
